Humanitarian Mission 2007:

Please click here to view the video

Our mission to drill the wells and provide fresh drinking water for the needy has been completed. Thank you all for being a part of this humanitarian project.  I am listing all the projects we have completed until now. I am not able to update my web site with pictures of video clips due to Afghanistan's Internet service speed. I will provide everyone with more detail, pictures, video clips and invoices as soon as I return. (bakhair).

In Chaman-e-babrak refugee camp, we were not able to drill a well. The well water in that area is salty. It is not drinkable. Instead, we hired a water tanker to provide fresh water for the refugee camp for the next six months. These camps will move to warmer places during winter in about six months.

size of the water supply tank. They are finishing the task.
Well project 2: Mission completed. The well was drilled and installed. It is serving the refugee camp and the surrounding communities.

School project at the refugee camp # 2: Mission completed. Classes will begin in coming Saturday.
Bed sets for Kabul orphanage project: Mission completed. 60 complete bed sets were ordered and delivered to Kabul orphanage.
Bed sets for Kufa orphanage: Mission completed. 30 complete bed sets were ordered and delivered to Kufa
orphanage. I forgot to take my still camera but I video taped it. We can see it in Nazi jan house with some nice plow, kofta chalow, Qabili and much more :)
Playground project for Sarahim Center for disabled kids: Mission completed. Complete play ground set, one slide and 3 different types of swings, was special ordered and delivered.
Playground project for Association of supporting orphan children: Mission completed. Complete play ground set, one slide and 3 different types of swings, was special ordered and delivered.
Well project #3 in Sorkhroad: Mission could not be completed due to location, time and money problems. Instead we decided to provide clean water for the refugee camp # 2, by purchasing water from a water tanker for the period of 6 months. These refugee camps are moving out of the area in the winter time. Six months of water supply would be more than sufficient for them.
Kids back to school project: Mission completed. Both boys (age 9-11) got admission to school. We had to pay someone to finish up their paper work. I also paid their dad to keep the boys in school. We will check on them continuously. Nabij jan from Ashiyana helped us out with the process. I will take some pictures of them in school and bring them with me.
Eye surgery of the orphan boy project: Still waiting to hear from the GOV. Sabor jan, let me know what to do.
Emergency Hospital need for orphans: I heard they got clearance from Indra Gandhi Hospital but I am not sure. I am waiting for Sorya jan to return to Kabul so I can follow up.
First Aid Kit that was left in ARO: it was delivered to Sarahim Center for Disabled kids.
Seeds: I still have some left. If I go to Sorkhroad, I will distribute them there, if not, I will distribute them in Kabul.
Baby kits: Only a few left. I am still distributing them around.
Logar immediate relief distribution: Mission completed. Two trucks of goods were delivered to Logar. They were donated to Khas Center to be distributed among four villages in Logar province.
The Kite Runner Kids: We checked on them they are doing great.
Land Project: Mission in progress. ARO was rewarded 1 1/2 acre of land by the Afghan Gov. We need to build it up now. Any ideas?
Project return home: NOT COMPLETED. NEED HELP:) ASAP

will share in the blessings.
